International Field Director
Jose began serving with GGF in August, 2012 after retiring from 30 years of military service, 26½ years as an Army Chaplain. He oversaw and served as pastor to many chapel congregations, supervised multiple staffs, and was sought out as a mentor. Jose holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from International Bible College in San Antonio, Texas, a Master of Divinity degree from the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico, a Master of Theology degree from Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Erskine Seminary, Due West, South Carolina. Jose focuses on fulfilling the GGF global mission through recruiting workers, visiting and caring for GGF missionaries, and cultivating GGF partners.
Sandy is Jose’s wife and serves with him. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Bible from Beacon College in Columbus, Georgia, and a Master’s Degree in Practical Theology from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio. She led and served numerous children’s and women’s groups during her time with Jose in the Army, and is sought out by many women for spiritual advice, prayer, and counsel.
