More about Jona

Jona Guerra was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas. He has a degree in Industrial Engineering and is now studying theology in seminary. He joined Isaiah 55 in June of 2021, sometime after God put it on his heart to be a missionary.

Now, Jona works in several areas with Isaiah 55, such as vocational training where people from the local neighborhood learn trades like carpentry, welding, sewing, etc. He also participates in the sports ministry, where (among other activities) he organizes and directs two soccer teams with children from the community. Jona is involved in a church plant and lives with the people in the neighborhood, developing relationships and sharing the gospel with them.

Jona’s favorite hobby is playing soccer and watching his favorite team’s games.
