More about Kim

Kim moved to the Mexican border in the spring of 2003. She is from Central Illinois where she grew up in a Christian home. Her personal journey of faith began as a teenager and was cultivated as she matured. She attended college in North Texas and earned a degree in Business Administration.

Photography, travel, and the arts are a few of her passions when she’s not balancing accounts, addressing expenses or communicating with student sponsors.

As the ministry has expanded beyond the deaf school to outreaches with hearing children, Kim enjoys joining her teammates on the streets and ball fields of the neighborhood and at the community center that is abuzz with activities several evenings a week. She also treasures regular times of prayer and worship.

Following a longing to serve, Kim came to Mexico to work in office administration and now assists in managing the finances and as well as various aspects of public relations for the ministry.
