More about the Light Of Life project
Light of Life is a Bible correspondence course that is offered free of charge to Portuguese speakers. Recent estimates show that 18,000 students were studying the Bible through Light of Life in more than 138 penitentiaries in Brazil before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Light of Life represents 3 major ministries: Light of Life from Gospel Crusade for Christ, Source of Light, and Mailbox Club (Child-friendly Bible studies). The ministry prints and sends lessons out by mail. Mail is received, lessons are graded, and letters answered —- mostly from prisoners who are just learning the Bible. Gospel tracts are often sent to inmates and in most cases, this is the only correspondence they ever receive from someone outside of the prison.
God has blessed this ministry. In 2019 there were 690 decisions for Christ. This is an ongoing ministry that offers everything free of charge and blesses thousands.
