A mobile app and website are an essential part of bringing high-quality Christian content to 8 unreached languages.

Your giving makes a difference!

• $60 provides initial domain registration for one website and follow-up email for a new unreached language!

• $50 provides for the monthly email address subscription for 10 unreached and least-reached languages!

• $100 provides for the monthly email address subscription and monthly domain subscription for 10 unreached and least-reached languages!

• $100 provides for graphic layout and user interface integration for a new unreached language!

• $200 provides for the design, layout, and coding to add one new language's content to the website.

• $250 provides translation and verification of the app and website into one language.

• $300 provides for the annual subscription for Adobe Creative Cloud, the software suite used for building and maintaining the application and website.

• $16,000 funds the initial Minimum Viable Product version of the application, including graphics, user interface, and programming.

• $20,000 funds both the Minimum Viable Product and the Feature-Complete Product versions of the application, including graphics, user database functionality (to save progress and help in follow-up), and additional programming. This version will only require updates to integrate new language options as they arise.

We are seeking funding to reach 1 least-reached and 7 unreached languages, for a total of ten languages, communicating the gospel to a potential audience of 97-100 million souls.

We have spent 5 years developing high-quality docudramas that share the gospel through the lens of the early church. A mobile app and website are an essential part of bringing Christian content to 10 unreached languages and least-reached people groups. This will be useful to church leaders and seminary instructors, and edifying to regular viewers, both Christian minority and Muslim majority.

Throughout the world, many nations consume the majority of their entertainment, conduct most of their business, and encounter most new ideas through mobile phone applications. Mobile phones provide a means for prohibited Christian content to be shared and experienced, and it has never been easier to produce multimedia content that can both share the gospel to the unreached and support the persecuted and remotely-located members of the church. This application and its  website take into account several considerations particular to areas of persecution:

• The need for language-localized content.

• The need for privacy.

• The understanding of Christianity and Christendom as Western political phenomena, with a general lack of knowledge regarding the Christian faith itself.

When funded, the Mobile App will have the following features:

• Support for Android mobile devices.
  A selection of streaming content, with the ability to select the version of each HP episode in all of the available languages.

• Contact info for follow-up (email, secure phone), as we are able to secure in-region partners.

• Local episode file storage on the mobile device for offline viewing (this won’t be in the initial version, but is a goal).
  The ability to select supporting content in the various languages: devotionals, articles, and location mini-documentary.  This allows the user to go beyond the episode from within the app.

• A study guide (instructor and student versions) for use in seminaries, Bible studies, one-on-one discipleship, etc.

• A QR code to launch the app store site, so that we can market the app on programming channels.  This can be put on social media sites, as well.

• A “boss button” feature to instantly save the app state, close the app, and change to an innocuous screen in the event that they are worried about repercussions if they are caught watching Christian content.
  

Possible feature to add when we obtain higher funding:

• An additional Passport feature where users of the app can indicate when they have visited the historical sites linked to the episode. This will help us gauge app engagement and contribute to fostering a social media community.

We are requesting $16,000 to bring this project to life in 1 least-reached and 7 unreached languages, for a total of eight languages, communicating the Gospel to a potential audience of 86-88 million souls
