More about Sarah

A pen-pal friendship with an MK grew a love for Romania in the heart of Sarah Moore. A visit in 2005 watered and nurtured that love for the ethnic gypsies of Romania. For several years the Lord directed Sarah’s steps to ministry in the states, but the desire to return never left.

Then the door opened in 2015 to serve in Romania. For thirteen months Sarah worked alongside a small group of Romanians striving to make a difference among the unlovely, abandoned, and unwanted. The weekly schedule involved teaching Bible clubs after school in three villages, with night shelter children in the city, and Bible studies with orphaned young adults.

Sarah returned to Romania in 2019 and has continued sharing the love of Christ and the life-changing message of the gospel with the Gypsy, Romanian and Hungarian people all around her. There is no such thing as a boring day while serving these three vastly different people groups. She loves the variety of ministry opportunities that the Lord has opened up in and beyond her home city.

Ministry Details

Sarah is involved in several ministries out of her home: weekly women’s Bible studies, monthly college girls fellowship, a weekly outdoor English class with neighborhood children, hosting dinners and gatherings regularly, and making small gifts to give those in her block with scripture or a gospel tract. She also partners with several other ministries: assisting the leadership of a local group with outreach to children in state group homes, creating locally sustained crafts for gypsy women to make, teaching conversational English in a private school, while also serving alongside two local churches.
