Sunneye Phillips is based in Los Angeles and works alongside Ekballo Pasadena, a mission school that trains and equips students to reach people around the world. 

Ministry Details

When Sunneye and the Ekballo students found out there were Afghan refugees moving to Los Angeles at the end of last year, they reached out to a resettlement agency to see how they could support them. They started building friendships with several refugee families that were all staying at the same hotel.  They have hosted picnics, beach days, ESL classes and a summer art camp over the last eight months.  The refugees have recently moved into their own apartments but continue to need support in ESL, finding jobs and knowing their way around LA.
