People Mender

Recently I visited with a prominent Azerbaijani carpet salesman in the city. His carpet showroom remains closed due to the COVID restrictions He has hired one of our new Kurdish believers to work in the backroom where the beautiful silk and wool Persian carpets are mended.

Pray for this believer as he is becoming a carpet mender and a people mender all at once. We thank God for the opportunity for a follower of Jesus to work so closely with a Muslim carpet salesman. Pray for us as we work on ways to help secure asylum for this Kurdish brother.

Earlier the same day, I spent time with another Persian carpet mender in another village. I don't include photo's because God is at work in the lives of carpet menders today. Pray for these men and for the young Kurdish believer we are trying to help.
